BOISE, Idaho, February 26, 2014 - The Idaho Stampede have announced the acquisitions of forward CJ Leslie from the Erie Bayhawks and Scott Machado from the Santa Cruz Warriors. In return, Idaho will send the returning player rights of Justin Holiday to Santa Cruz and Idaho's original second round pick in the 2014 NBA Development League Draft to Erie.
Leslie (6-9, 209, North Carolina State) has averaged 13.3 points and 5.9 rebounds in 34 games with the Bayhawks this season. His career high of 31 points came on February 3 against the Springfield Armor.
In 13 games with Santa Cruz, Machado (6-2, 206, Iona) has 9.6 points per game while dishing out 3.2 assists. He appeared in six games for the Houston Rockets in during the 2012-13 NBA regular season and five games for the Golden State Warriors during the 2013-13 NBA Playoffs.
Pending physicals, Machado and Leslie will be available February 28 when the Stampede host the Santa Cruz Warriors.
