FORT WAYNE, IN (February 26, 2014) -The Fort Wayne Mad Ants presented by the Lutheran Health Network have traded Darnell Lazare to the Idaho Stampede in exchange for Idaho's original fourth round draft pick in the 2014 NBA Development League Draft.
In 20 games with the Mad Ants this season (8 starts), Lazare (LSU) averaged 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Lazare spent the 2010-11 season as well as the 2011-12 season with the Mad Ants. He averaged 16.2 points and 6.9 rebound per game during the 2010-11 season and 15.5 points and 7 rebounds per game during the 2011-12 season. He was named to the 2012 NBA D-League All-Star team
