Stampede Swept in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, California, December 6, 2010 - The Idaho Stampede made just 11 first half field goals and finished the game 3-of-18 (16.7 percent) from behind the three-point line as they lost their third straight game in Bakersfield to the Jam (4-4) 123-94 Monday night.

Eric Boateng finished with his second-straight double-double, scoring 16 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. Dontell Jefferson and Carlos Wheeler tied for a team-high 18 points, with both also pulled down eight rebounds. Willie Jenkins had his seventh straight double-digit scoring effort from the bench for the Stampede (0-7) with 17 points. Idaho finished the game at 32.9 percent from the floor, with Lance Hurdle (1-11), Seth Tarver (1-9) and Luke Jackson (1-7) combining to go 3-of-27 (11.1 percent). Idaho made 37-of-41 free throws, a pace of 90.2 percent.

Jeremy Wise had 27 points on 8-of-8 shooting (5-5 3FG, 6-6 FT) through the first three quarters and the Jam finished the game with 13 made three-pointers and 40 free throws (in 46 attempts). Wise finished the game with 29 points and six assists. Trey Johnson had 18 points, 11 assists and Drew Naymick came off the bench to supply 14 points, 11 rebounds.

The Stampede will play Wednesday against the Dakota Wizards at Qwest Arena in Boise at 7 p.m.
