BOISE, Idaho - Reggie Hearn scored the Stampede's final two points with .7 seconds left in overtime to give Idaho a 119-118 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors. The Stampede now have a 1.0 game lead in the West Division.

Pierre Jackson hit a 3-pointer with 31 seconds left to give Idaho a 111-108 lead in the fourth quarter. Daniel Nwaelele answered with a 3-pointer of his own to tie the game and send it to overtime. After trading buckets, Santa Cruz made another 3-pointer when Dominic McGuire connected with 18.5 seconds left on the clock, giving the Warriors a 118-117 lead. After a missed jumper by Jackson, the Warriors had possession with only 3.7 seconds left. After failing to pass the ball in, the Warriors called a timeout to draw up the next play. With the 5-second violation looming, McGuire attempted to pass the ball to Nwaelele but the Stampede's Dee Bost intercepted the ball under the basket. With time running out, Bost threw the ball up towards the basket and the Stampede's Reggie Hearn laid it in to give Idaho the victory.

Dee Bost led the Stampede with 30 points, seven assists and six rebounds. EJ Singler scored 23 points and made seven 3-pointers in his first start of the season. Six Stampede players finished with double-digit points. Pierre Jackson scored 15 points and dished out nine assists in the winning effort.

Seth Curry led the Warriors balanced offense with 23 points. Ognjen Kuzmic had 15 points and 16 rebounds on assignment from the Golden State Warriors. Hilton Armstrong also added a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Despite the loss, the Warriors out-rebounded the Stampede 60-46.

The Idaho Stampede (13-8) hit the road next week with games at Rio Grande Valley (Jan 22), Austin (Jan 23) and Tulsa (Jan 25). The Santa Cruz Warriors (12-9) will host the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Tuesday, Jan 21 for their next game.
