
Reno Bighorns Dominate the Bakersfield Jam

Reno, NV - The Reno Bighorns dominated the Bakersfield Jam 118-93 Saturday night at the Reno Events Center.
The Bighorns took the early lead as Dequan Jones tallied 12 points in the first quarter, including a huge dunk after stealing the ball from Jared Cunningham. Reno ended the quarter with a 33-24 lead. Jones continued his hot streak in the second quarter ending the first half with 19 points. Bryan Davis also had a productive first half, grabbing 7 rebounds and scoring 8 points as the Bighorns lead 58-45 at the break.
The third quarter was dominated by Sacramento Kings assignment player, Ray McCallum. He had 14 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in the third quarter alone. Reno went on an 8-0 run to end the third quarter with a 90-66 lead.
Bakersfield rallied in the fourth quarter, but the Bighorns' lead was insurmountable. The Bighorns are currently 5-0 this season when playing against Bakersfield.
For the Bighorns, Dequan Jones had a game-high 23 points, Ray McCallum added 17 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bryan Davis had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The Jam's team-leader was Ike Diogu with 22 points. Von Wafer added 19 points and Damion James tallied 16 points.
Bighorns forward, Mo Charlo did not play due to a groin strain.
