BOISE, Idaho (February 22, 2008) - The Idaho Stampede have announced the re-acquisition of guard Luke Jackson. Jackson played in one game already this season for the Stampede, before being called up to the Miami Heat of the NBA in December.
Jackson played in 14 games for Miami, averaging 16.3 minutes per game, 5.6 points, and 2.4 rebounds, before being waived by the Heat on February 6.
In the only game Jackson played in for the Stampede this season, he played 31 minutes, scored 30 points and dished out nine assists, in a winning effort against Sioux Falls.
Jackson played in 23 games for Idaho in the 2006-2007 season, averaging 14.6 per game and 3.9 assists. Last season, Jackson was called up to the NBA by the Los Angeles Clippers and the Toronto Raptors.
He will join the team tonight as they take on Anaheim in Boise.
