BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Stampede fell to the Texas Legends, 102-96, Wednesday night. The matchup featured 18 lead changes with Texas taking control of the game in the fourth quarter.
All five Stampede starters scored in double figures. In his first game with Idaho, Minnesota Timberwolves assignee Tyus Jones scored a game-high 27 points, along with eight assists and six rebounds. Jeff Ayres recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Fields registered his third double-double of the year with 13 points and 11 assists, while JJ O'Brien (13) and Utah Jazz assignee Tibor Pleiss (12) combined for 25 points.
Six Texas players scored 10-or-more points. Tu Holloway led the team with 22 points and five assists. Toure' Murry registered a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds while Allen Durham added 10 points and 10 bounds off the bench.
The Stampede will play again on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. MT against the Bakersfield Jam at CenturyLink Arena.
