BOISE, Idaho, December 30, 2010 - The Idaho Stampede announced today the acquisition of forward Jermareo Davidson. Davidson (6-10, 230, Alabama) returns to the Treasure Valley, having played 15 games (15 starts) for the Stampede in 2008-09. During that season, he averaged 16.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. Davidson played for Sioux Falls the season before his time in Idaho. In his D-League career, Davidson has played 21 games (19 starts), with averages of 16.7 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.
Born November 17, 1984, Davidson has played 52 career NBA games (2 starts), averaging 3.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game for the Charlotte Bobcats (2007-08, 38 games, 2 starts) and Golden State Warriors (2008-09, 14 games).
In order to make roster space for Davidson, who will wear jersey No. 50, the Stampede made Salim Stoudamire available to the player trade pool.
