Frisco, TX (December 30, 2010) - The Texas Legends in conjunction with the Dallas Mavericks today announced that they will be ringing in the New Year with the REAL HEROS...our men and women in uniform.
Starting at 3 PM, on the Mavericks practice court inside American Airlines Center, 2,000 of North Texas' finest men and women of the armed forces will join players, coaches and staff of both the Legends and Mavericks for a fun afternoon of shooting hoops.
Following the shoot-around, the party will move to the Gilley's / Palladium complex to continue the New Years Eve Bash. Local country music performers Wade Bowen and Josh Abbott will be on hand to provide great tunes for the one of a kind occasion.
The Legends and Mavericks are proud to salute those brave warriors who put their lives on the line for us every day, as all proceeds from the event will go to the Fallen Patriot Fund.
