Stampede 86'ed By 66ers

BOISE, Idaho - Tony Bobbitt scored a team-high 17 points and Will Foster had six points, five rebounds and five more blocked shots (after seven on Nov. 25), but the Stampede (0-2) lost the battle of the boards (50-31) and on the scoreboard 97-85 to the Tulsa 66ers (2-0) at CenturyLink Arena.

The Stampede went just 6-of-20 from behind the three-point arc and allowed 16 offensive rebounds by Tulsa in the loss. Jerome Dyson had 26 points (7-14 FG, 9-12 FT) and Marcus Lewis had 20 points and his second-consecutive 16-rebound night to lead the 66ers. Ryan Reid added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Tulsa, who outrebounded the Stampede by 19 after beating the home team on the boards by 17 last night.

Seth Tarver had 15 points, Willie Jenkins had 13 points and Kevin Galloway had seven points, nine assists and six rebounds for Idaho.

The second half saw the Stampede claw to within two points to end the quarter, winning the quarter 25-11, but in the final stanza the 66ers scored 28 points by making 3-of-5 three-pointers, 9-of-12 free throws and collecting 17 rebounds to the Stampede's six.

Idaho plays the Dakota Wizards on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at CenturyLink Arena.
