St. Patrick's Day Jersey Auction Starts Tonight

The one-of-a-kind St. Patrick's Day jerseys that the Storm wore in the 3-2 victory over the Kitchener Rangers during RBC night on Tuesday, March 17th will be auctioned off starting Wednesday, March 18th at 5:00pm.

All net proceeds will go the Guelph Giants Special Needs Hockey Club - a foundation dedicated to encouraging, empowering and enabling athletes with an intellectual disability to participate in an inclusive hockey program.

Since the 2011-12 season through the first three RBC Play Hockey Days and other warm up jersey auctions, RBC and the Storm have raised over $25,000 for local minor hockey groups.

The auctions will begin March 18th at approximately 5pm, with EACH JERSEY GOING UP SEPERATELY IN 10-MINUTE INTERVALS.

THE AUCTIONS WILL NOT BE LIVE UNTIL AFTER 5PM EST ON March 18th, and will be found at the following link:-

The jerseys will be posted in the club roster's numerical order every ten minutes, and will have starting bids of $150.00. All winning values will be subject to HST.

The auctions will be live for ONE WEEK, ending on March 25th, also in 10-minute intervals .

Please note that successful local bidders are welcome to pay for their jerseys at Spyke's Sports Shop. If this is a preferred option, please refrain from paying for your jersey via PayPal once the auction ends. You will NOT be charged shipping at Spyke's.

The St. Patrick's Day Jerseys were made locally by Projoy Sportswear, and designed in conjunction with the Storm. A limited number of replica jerseys are still available for purchase at Spyke's.
