March 13, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release
FRESNO, Calif. âAfter completing an eleven-game road swing, the Fresno Falcons are ready for some home cooking! The Falcons return to home ice this weekend for a St. Patrick's Day feast of games against Bakersfield, Long Beach and Idaho, as their quest to repeat as the WCHL Taylor Cup Champions continues.
The Condors will visit Fresno for a 7:30 p.m. game on Friday night, and the first 2,000 fans in the door will receive the 2002-03 Fresno Falcons team card set, as well as an exclusive Freddie Falcon card, all sponsored by Carl 's Jr. Friday night will also be the final night for the Execu-tech Communications Sumo Hockey contest during first intermission, so don't miss out on that!
Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., the Falcons will take on the Long Beach Ice Dogs while wearing their special-edition St. Patrick's Day jerseys. The first 1,000 fans in the door will get a commemorative St. Patrick's Day puck, presented by California Business Furnishings. The jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game by Flint Epps, the Voice of the Valley, at the Radisson Hotel on Ventura Street. A portion of the net proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Fresno-Madera Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross.
The Falcons' weekend ends with a Sunday Family Day match-up against the Idaho Steelheads at 5 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive a "Clover Club" poster, sponsored by Jostens and the Valley Air District, which honors the Falcons players who have had three or four-goal games this season. Pick up your Family Day coupon from CentralValley.com and redeem it at the Selland Arena Box Office for 6 balcony seats for only $28!
Individual tickets are still available for all remaining home games through all Ticketmaster outlets or at www.ticketmaster.com, as well as in person at the Selland Arena Box Office. For more information, please call the Falcons office at 485-PUCK!
