Sutter Assigned to Chiefs

Johnstown, PA- The Saint John Flames of the American Hockey League announced today that the have assigned forward Shaun Sutter to the Johnstown Chiefs.

Sutter, 22, a 6'1", 175 lb native of Red Deer, Alberta, recorded 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 20 games with Saint John this season. Sutter also appeared in 2 games with Johnstown this season recording 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

Sutter was a fourth round draft pick (102nd overall) of the Calgary Flames in 1998. He played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League for the Calgary Hitmen, Lethbridge Hurricanes, and Medicine Hat Tigers.

Sutter will be available when the Chiefs host the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies tomorrow night.

Friday night they return home to play Atlantic City, and Saturday night the Chiefs host the Trenton Titans. Both games are at 7:30 p.m. Friday night is Charter Communications Night. Fans that bring in their most recent Charter Communications bill, will be eligible for $2 off per ticket they purchase for the game. Saturday night is Fox 8/ABC 23 puck night. The first 1,000 people will receive a Johnstown Chiefs puck, courtesy of Fox 8/ABC 23, Vittone Eye Surgeons, and EM's Subs.
