McDonald Returns to Everblades

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today that they have added forwards Brent McDonald and Ryan Murphy to the roster and defenseman Sean Curry has been recalled to the Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL). Murphy and McDonald are expected to be in the lineup when the Blades battle the Greenville Grrrowl on Friday night at TECO Arena.

McDonald (5-11, 190 lbs) appeared in 52 games with the Lock Monsters this season, registering 15 points (7g, 8a) and 29 PIM. Murphy (6-1, 205 lbs.) appeared in 12 games with the Lock Monsters this season, registering three points (1g, 2a) and 4 PIM's.

Curry (6-5, 227 lbs) returns to the Lock Monsters from the Florida Everblades of the East Coast Hockey League. Through 26 games with Florida, he tallied 6 points (1g, 5a) and 52 PIM. The Burnsville, Minnesota native has appeared in 32 games with the Lock Monsters this season, registering one assist and 58 PIM's.

The Everblades remain at TECO Arena this weekend to take on the Greenville Grrrowl on Friday, March 14th and Saturday, March 15th. Both games begin at 7:30 PM. All 72 regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM with the "Voice of the Everblades" Mark Miller calling the play by play.
