Squadron Win Last Regular Season Home Game over Stockton

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron (17-14), NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, secured a 116-106 win over the Stockton Kings (15-17) in their final regular season home game. The Squadron have one final regular season game Saturday at Memphis to secure a home game in round 1 of the NBA G league playoffs.

The game began close, with seven lead changes in the first half before a 40-point quarter by the Squadron gave the team an insurmountable lead that stretched to as many as 19.

Squadron guard Jared Harper finished with a game-high 28 points on 9-for-15 shooting, including 4-for-9 from deep. Tonight marks his 16th game of 20+ points. Harper also added eight assists and five rebounds.

Both center Zach Hankins (18 points, 10 rebounds) and power forward Zylan Cheatham (13 points, 12 rebounds) both posted double-doubles on the night.

For Stockton, guard Quinn Cook led the way with 27 points on 11-for-18 shooting, while adding nine points, a team-high nine assists and two steals. Kings forward Emanuel Terry led the team with 16 rebounds and finished with 12 points, notching a double-double.

The Squadron will hit the road to Memphis for their last game of the regular season on Saturday, April 2, in the Lander's Center at 7 p.m. CT.
