
Squadron Survives Wednesday Matinee in Osceola 118-116

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron survived an early-morning showdown with the Osceola Magic on Wednesday at Silver Spurs Arena, 118-116.
Trey Jemison's mark of 18 rebounds was just one board shy of the Birmingham (7-6) all-time record and the UAB product scored 14 points, registering his second-consecutive double-double.
Jalen Crutcher led the Squadron in scoring with 24 on 9-of-16 shooting, while Devin Cannady notched 22 points on 5-of-7 shooting from deep in his second start of the season.
Osceola (7-5) featured four players, Trevelin Queen (30), Brandon Williams (27), Mac McClung (24) and Alex Morales (20) with at least 20 points.
Birmingham and Osceola are set for a rematch Friday in Kissimmee, with tip-off set for 6 p.m. The contest can be viewed locally on My68 or nationally on NBAGLeague.com.
