Mad Ants Secure #1 Seed in 2023 NBA G League Showcase Cup

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Indiana completed a two-game sweep of Wisconsin with a 110-102 win Wednesday. With the win, Indiana clinches the top seed in next week's NBA G League Showcase Cup tournament in Orlando, Florida and improves to 12-1 overall, on an 11-game winning streak.
In the three years of the Showcase Cup, the Mad Ants have now qualified twice for the Showcase Cup; they were the 8th seed in 2021 but lost in the opening round to top seeded Delaware.
The Mad Ants (12-1) clinched a spot in the Showcase Cup on December 11, also in a win over Wisconsin. December 12's loss by Motor City guaranteed the Mad Ants the Central Division's top spot. As the #1 seed, they will face whoever the #8 seed may be on Tuesday, December 19 in Orlando.
Indiana is fourth the NBA G League in scoring at 120.2 points per game and are second in rebounds per game (51.8) and assists per game (27.6).
