- With a win on Friday, Springfield broke a franchise record for most consecutive roads wins with eight-straight victories.

- Josh Anderson scored his first professional goal on Saturday against Norfolk and also collected an assist for his first two-point game.

Community Brief

- Stick to Reading - Falcons players are participating in Stick to Reading presented by Columbia Gas of Massachusetts. The players will read and visit with students at John Ashley Kindergarten in West Springfield on Tuesday, Dec. 16. The program focuses on promoting the importance of reading throughout the Greater Springfield area.

- Friends of the Homeless - The Springfield Falcons are volunteering at Friends of the Homeless on Wednesday, Dec. 17. Players have purchased items to donate and will assist with serving dinner.

- Toys For Tots - Forward Trent Vogelhuber and defenseman Thomas Larkin are assisting with the Toys for Tots Drive at Agawam City Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 5 - 6:30 p.m.
