Springfield Falcons News Release
Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons are teaming up with Baystate Children's Hospital and 94.7 WMAS to support the Change Heroes campaign for the 14th annual 94.7 WMAS Radiothon when the Falcons host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Sunday, February 15 at 5 p.m.
The Change Heroes campaign is a grassroots coin collection drive that helps turn spare change into miracles for patients cared for at Baystate Children's Hospital. On Feb. 15, Pioneer Valley Credit Union will provide a coin machine that will be at the Baystate table on the concourse. Any fan who donates $5 or more in change to Change Heroes will receive one Falcons ticket voucher for Sunday, Feb. 22, limited to one per person, courtesy of Pioneer Valley Credit Union. In addition, the first 50 fans to donate will receive a prize pack, courtesy of 94.7 WMAS.
All funds will go towards the 14th Annual 94.7 WMAS Radiothon for Baystate Children's Hospital held March 5 - 7. Since its inception, the Radiothon has raised over $2.4 million for the local Children's Hospital. For more information on the Radiothon, visit www.baystatehealth.org/radiothon or call (413) 794-1486.
