Checkers Announce Reduced 2015-16 Season Ticket Pricing

February 11, 2015 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Charlotte Checkers News Release

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers today announced reduced season ticket pricing for the 2015-16 season at Bojangles' Coliseum.

Packages for the first season of the Checkers' return to the coliseum will start as low as $10 per game. Prices are lower in every available category, with savings of up to 20 percent compared to similar seating areas from the current season at Time Warner Cable Arena. In addition to the reduced pricing, all seating areas will bring fans closer to the action while providing improved sightlines and a wider range of available amenities.

With renovations and upgrades still pending at Bojangles' Coliseum, the Checkers are asking for a commitment of $50 per seat at this time and are planning to host several select-a-seat events starting in mid-March. Existing season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to select seats, with remaining priority assigned based on tenure, timeliness of deposit payment and willingness to sign a two-year agreement that will lock in the newly-reduced prices for an additional season. The Checkers will begin receiving deposits at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12.

Exact dates for the select-a-seat events and additional benefits that season ticket holders will enjoy will be announced at a later date.

Existing season tickets holders should contact their account representative to discuss renewal options. Those interested in becoming new season ticket holders may call (704) 342-4423 or email tickets@gocheckers.com for more information.
