Springfield Falcons Recall Domenic Monardo from Reading Royals

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons have recalled forward Domenic Monardo from the Reading Royals of the ECHL, Director of Hockey Operations Bruce Landon announced today.

Monardo, 26, appeared in three games with the Royals since being assigned on Feb. 5. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward has skated in 26 games with the Falcons this season, posting 7-2-9, 21 penalty minutes and a +2 rating. Monardo also spent the 2013-14 season with Reading, appearing in 70 games, earning 27-19-46, 62 penalty minutes and a +11 rating.

Prior to his professional career, the Oakville, Ontario native spent four years at Lake Superior State University, accumulating 49-52-101 and 100 penalty minutes in 153 contests.
