
Sporting Kansas City to Face Real Salt Lake on Saturday

Sporting Kansas City News Release
Following a resounding 3-0 win over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, Sporting Kansas City -- now first in the Eastern Conference -- will take part in four days of training before traveling to Real Salt Lake for their next MLS match on Saturday, September 17 at 8:00 p.m. CT at Rio Tinto Stadium. Saturday's match will be televised on KSMO, with coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT.
With Sporting Kansas City on the road, LIVESTRONG Sporting Park will host the U.S. Women's National Team in their first match since the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup when they play Canada in an international friendly at 6:00 p.m. CT on Saturday. All fans in attendance are encouraged to remain in their seats following the match for a full-stadium watch party as Sporting Kansas City's match at Real Salt Lake is shown live on both video boards inside the stadium.
Tickets are still available for the U.S. Women's National Team's first appearance in Kansas City since 2004 and can be purchased at the LIVESTRONG Sporting Park Box Offices or online at USSoccer.com. All media members wishing to cover the match must complete the online credential application by Wednesday, September 14th. Credentials for the match will be available for pick-up at all U.S. Women's National Team training sessions, as well as prior to the match on Saturday. Please note: Major League Soccer, Sporting Kansas City and/or LIVESTRONG Sporting Park credentials will not be valid for Saturday's match.
