
Spitfires Trade for Erie's Derek Holden

Windsor Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel announced today that the team has traded their 5th round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Draft to the Erie Otters in exchange for overage defenceman Derek Holden and Erie's (Ottawa) 15th round pick in the 2012 draft.
"In pursuit of a playoff spot this season Derek will add experience to the D-line," said Rychel. "We're excited to bring him to Windsor."
20-year-old Holden (Jan.21,'91), currently has 5 goals for 9 points in 34 games with Erie this season and 20 goals for 102 points in 248 games in his OHL career.
