
Spitfires' Boka Commits to Queen's for 2020-21

The Queen's University Gaels men's hockey program has announced that Windsor Spitfires overage graduate Luke Boka has committed for the 2020-21 season.
A newly-turned 21-year-old from Plymouth, Mich., Boka completed a five-year OHL career, graduating as the Windsor Spitfires' all-time games played leader with 313 career regular season contests. Boka amassed 140 points (60-80-140) in that span, posting a career-high 17 goals in his overage season along with a total of 36 points (17-19-36).
The 6-foot, 196Ib. right-winger was voted the Western Conference's top shot blocker for a third straight season in the 2019-20 OHL Coaches Poll. He hoisted the Memorial Cup with the Spitfires in 2017 and was originally the club's fifth round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.
Boka joins a Queen's recruiting class that also consists of Spitfires teammate Thomas Stevenson in addition to other OHL grads inÃÂ Anthony Popovich (Flint), Jakob Brahaney (Kingston) and Jacob Paquette (Peterborough).
