Sparks Recalled to Providence

DULUTH, Ga. - Forward Lindsay Sparks has been recalled by the AHL's Providence Bruins, the Atlanta Gladiators announced Thursday.

Sparks, 27, heads to the P-Bruins for the second time this season. The fifth-year-pro skated in three games last week for Providence and earned a plus-one rating. The Oakville, ON native leads the Gladiators in scoring with 54 points (13-41-54) in 54 games played this season. The former University of Michigan Wolverine had his first career AHL stint last year where he posted four points (1-3-4) in 22 games for the Tucson Roadrunners.
