VFW Jersey Auction, Drawstring Bag Giveaway When Mallards Return to Action Tomorrow Night

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards return to action tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. against the Toledo Walleye at the TaxSlayer Center and will wear special edition military-themed jerseys during that game that will be auctioned off afterward to benefit VFW Post 1303. In addition, the Mallards will team with Scott County Family YMCA for a Mallards drawstring bag giveaway tomorrow evening.

The Mallards debuted their camouflage VFW jerseys in their Veterans' Day game against the Indy Fuel and have worn them in warm-ups before each home game since then. The live auction will immediately follow tomorrow evening's game. Post 1303 is located in Rock Island.

One thousand fans ages 12 and under attending tomorrow night's game will receive free Mallards drawstring bags courtesy of Scott County Family YMCA. Scott County Family YMCA has locations in Bettendorf, Davenport and Maquoketa.

Tomorrow night also brings the Mallards' penultimate $2 Dog/$2 Beer Night presented by 97X. Discounted hot dogs and beers are available at TaxSlayer Center concession stands during Friday home games throughout the season. The Mallards' April 6 game against Kalamazoo Wings will be the last $2 Dog/$2 Beer Night of the year.

Tomorrow is another MetroLINK College Night. The Mallards have once again partnered with Metro to provide transit service between Augustana College and downtown Moline during Friday home games. As part of Metro's unlimited ride program, Augustana riders can use their Augustana ID as their fare.

Tickets for tomorrow night's game- and all remaining Mallards regular season home games- are now on sale at the TaxSlayer Center box office, Ticketmaster toll free charge-by-phone (1-800-745-3000) and ticketmaster.com. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
