Guns 'N Hoses Night Highlights this Weekend's Home Games

ESTERO, FL -- The Annual Guns N' Hoses Night takes place this Saturday, March 17 (7:00 p.m.) at Germain Arena when the Everblades play host to the Orlando Solar Bears in a Wawa Sunshine Cup match-up. The two teams will also meet this Friday (March 16) at 7:30 p.m.
Friday's game features several great food specials. Kids aged 12 and under eat free in the Breakaway Sports Pub located at Germain Arena with the purchase of adult entrée! Fans can also enjoy bottomless all you can eat popcorn all night long!
On Saturday, it's a hockey double-header, as our local heroes, the police and fire fighters go head-to-head on the ice at 4:15 p.m. at Germain Arena. The game will feature several former Everblades players who are now serving the Southwest Florida community. A ticket to the Everblades game on Saturday will get you into the Guns 'N Hoses game for free.
The Everblades will wear special Guns N' Hoses themed jerseys (pictured below) for both of this weekend's games and the jerseys will be auctioned off following Saturday's game. Proceeds of the jersey auction will benefit the ** Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA (https://www.mda.org/) ).
In addition to Saturday's festivities, the first 3,000 fans will receive green key chain flashlights courtesy of ** Gerber Collision and Glass (https://www.gerbercollision.com/) ! From 5-7 p.m. there will also be live music and bounce houses for the kids.
The Everblades conclude their road swing on Thursday, when they battle the Orlando Solar Bears at the Amway Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Try Goalie Day also takes place on March 17 from 12;30-2:30 p.m. on the main rink at Germain Arena. This FREE event is open to youth hockey players aged 5-13 interested in the opportunity to try playing goalie. Everblades Goaltending Coach Josh Robinson in conjunction with Phil Osaer with USA Hockey will be hosting the event for interested youth players to have fun and give the goalie position a try. Goalie equipment will be provided, but interested players should bring their own hockey equipment and skates.
