Sox gearing up for upcoming three-game series

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Sox have announced their promotional schedule for the upcoming home series against the Grand Prairie Airhogs starting on August 14.

The series begins on Tuesday, August 14 with Tasty Tuesday. It will feature $2.00 food specials along with Thirsty Thursday drink specials all night long. The game will also be a State Farm Good Neighbor Tuesday where fans can sign up to win $100 courtesy of your local State Farm agent.

Wednesday, August 15 will feature a special night sponsored by Affiliated Foods with $0.50 hot dogs all night long, while they last. Admission to the game will be free of charge while there will be a raffle for an outdoor swingset with proceeds benefiting the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Additionally, there will be a special presentation during the game where a local Wish-Kid will be granted his wish during the game.

The series will conclude on Thursday, August 16 with the world-famous Thirsty Thursday. Drink specials will go on all game long with $1.00 canned sodas and two canned beers for $3.00.
