Sox beat Oklahoma 5-3 to snap 5-game losing streak

The Sky Sox snapped their 5-game losing streak on Thursday night by beating the Oklahoma RedHawks 5-3 at Sky Sox Stadium. Sox starter Denny Stark pitched 5.2 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 3. Brad Clontz pitched 2 great innings giving up 0 runs on 0 hits and striking out 1, to record his 17th save of the year. The Sox offense was led by Choo Freeman who was 3-3 on the night with a double, scored a run, and drove in a run. The Sox and RedHawks square off again tomorrow night with the Sox sending Aaron Cook (0-1, 3.86) to the bump to face R.A. Dickey (1-1, 1.20).
