April 16, 2013 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Tucson Padres News Release
The Tucson Padres are honoring all law enforcement employees and firefighters on Friday, April 19 for their tremendous service to the Tucson community. As part of Salute to Southern Arizona Police and Fire Night, any law enforcement or fire department employee can show their ID at the box office and receive two free box seats to the Padres game. Friday night's game against the Salt Lake Bees starts at 7:05 pm.
"I am a proud member of the Tucson Police Foundation and feel it's very important we recognize the brave police officers and firefighters in our community," said Mike Feder, Tucson Padres General Manager. "With the tragic events in Boston, this event even more reinforces the fact that we need to recognize the great work the police and fire representatives do for every community."
This is the third straight season the Padres have held a Police and Firefighters Night. The Padres are also offering free concourse display tables for any police and fire related organizations.
The Tucson Padres current homestand continues tonight through Friday, with 7:05 games against Salt Lake each night.
