Sounds Begin Nine-Game Homestand Monday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club begins an eight-day, nine-game homestand on Monday, June 13 when they welcome two American Southern Division rivals to First Tennessee Park.

The first series is a four-game set against the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.

From Friday, June 17 through Monday, June 20, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, the Round Rock Express visit First Tennessee Park for the final time in the 2016 season. The series includes a doubleheader on Sunday, June 19 set to begin at 1:05 p.m.

Below is a preview for each game of the homestand:

Monday, June 13 vs. Memphis - 7:05 p.m.

- Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

- Major League "Fan" dana Giveaway presented by 650 AM WSM (First 2,000 Fans).

Tuesday, June 14 vs. Memphis - 7:05 p.m.

Wednesday, June 15 vs. Memphis - 12:05 p.m.

- Gates open at 11:00 a.m.

- Noon Bash in Nash presented by ESPN 102.5 The Game - catch Sounds baseball at high noon!

- Senior Discount - Fans 60 and older may purchase a Corner Section ticket for just $8. Discount is based on availability - one ticket per I.D.

Thursday, June 16 vs. Memphis - 7:05 p.m.

- Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

- Throwback Thursday presented by iHeartMedia - the Sounds will wear throwback jerseys to commemorate the team's original uniform style from 1978. Fans can purchase Coca-Cola fountain soda, domestic draft beers and 12oz. cans for $2 each. Bud and Bud Light 16oz. cans and import and craft draft beer can be purchased for $3 each.

Friday, June 17 vs. Round Rock - 7:05 p.m.

- Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

- FOX17 post-game fireworks presented by Koorsen Fire & Security.

Saturday, June 18 vs. Round Rock - 7:05 p.m.

- Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 19 vs. Round Rock - 1:05 p.m. *Doubleheader - Two Seven Inning Games*

- Gates open at 12:00 p.m.

- Game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Fans that possess tickets for the originally scheduled game can now enjoy both games of the doubleheader with their current ticket.

- Camo Sounds Hat Giveaway presented by Advance Financial (First 2,000 Fans).

- Pre-game autograph session with select Sounds players 12:15-12:30.

- Military Sunday presented by Piedmont Natural Gas, Tennessee 811 and WSMV Channel 4 - the Sounds will wear camouflage jerseys to honor active/veteran military men, women & families.

- Post-game Kids Run the Bases (12 & under) presented by First Tennessee.

Monday, June 20 vs. Round Rock - 7:05 p.m.

- Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

- Major League Monday with former Oakland Athletics pitcher Vida Blue presented by 650 AM WSM. Three-time World Series Champion, six-time All-Star and 1971 MVP and AL Cy Young Award Winner Vida Blue will visit First Tennessee Park to sign autographs and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
