From the Notes

The View from the Top: At 36-22, the Sounds sit in first place in the American Southern Division. Their 5.5 game lead over Round Rock is the largest lead any first-place team has over a second-place team in the PCL.

4x5: Matt McBride became the fifth Sounds player to have four hits in a game this season. He joins Jaycob Brugman and Chad Pinder who have had four hits in a game twice this year, and Matt Olson and Joey Wendle who have had four hits in a game once.

Six Shooter: With Tuesday's win over Omaha, the Sounds have won six straight series. The stretch started on May 14 when they swept Fresno. They took three of four against Sacramento before sweeping both Las Vegas and Salt Lake. Nashville then took two of three against Round Rock before taking three of four from the Storm Chasers. They're 20-3 over the 23 game-stretch.
