Sounders FC Receives $150,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money

SEATTLE, WASH. - Sounders FC today announced that it has acquired $150,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) from the Columbus Crew in exchange for a 2023 International Roster Slot. The move brings Seattle's number of 2023 International Roster Slots to three as the team continues its 2023 MLS campaign.

Sounders FC now has one open International Roster Slot, with two current international players on the roster: Léo Chú and Yeimar Gómez Andrade.

After a 1-0 home win against Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday, Seattle (9-7-5, 32 points) hits the road to take on Vancouver (6-6-7, 25 points) on Saturday, July 8 at BC Place (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
