
Drew Moor: a Timeline of his MLS Career

If you ask Rapids fans, players and coaches what comes to mind when you say the name Drew Moor, many of them will simply respond: Legend. Moor had a 17-year MLS career highlighted by two MLS Cup titles and 10 years in the Burgundy and Blue. This weekend, he will be inducted into the Colorado Rapids Gallery of Honor, which was established to forever honor outstanding former players of the Rapids. Below is a quick look at notable moments throughout his career.
Jan. 14, 2005 - To kick off his professional career, Moor was selected by FC Dallas as the sixth-overall pick in the MLS SuperDraft. During his rookie season, Moor made nine starts in his 20 appearances with Dallas.
Aug. 31, 2009 - Moor was traded to the Colorado Rapids.
June 5, 2010 - He scored his first goal for the Rapids in the 85th minute to defeat Columbus Crew, 1-0.
Nov. 21, 2010 - Moor led the Rapids to its first and only MLS Cup. The team defeated Moor's former club, FC Dallas, 2-1, at Toronto's BMO Field.
2011 - The defender broke the MLS record for most consecutive complete games played by a field player with 68.
July 29, 2015 - Moor was selected to play in the MLS All-Star game as a right back. The game was played at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park against Tottenham Hotspur.
Dec. 16, 2015 - He signed a contract as free agent with Toronto.
Dec. 9, 2017 - Moor won his second MLS Cup title at BMO Field, helping Toronto to its first and only MLS Cup with a 2-0 win over the Seattle Sounders. He led the team to three MLS Cup finals appearances in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Nov. 27, 2019 - Moor signed a contract to return to the Colorado Rapids.
Oct. 1, 2022 - The Rapids legend played the last match of his MLS career against FC Dallas at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park. The Rapids won 1-0.
