SEATTLE, WASH. - After a 5-0 aggregate win against F.C. Motagua Thursday evening and advancing to the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Quarterfinals, Seattle Sounders FC (0-0-0, 0 points) opens its MLS regular season against Nashville SC (0-0-0, 0 points) at home on Sunday, February 27 (5:00 p.m. PT / FOX 13+, Prime Video, iHeartMedia, El Rey 1360 AM).

Hosting its season opener for the 13th time in 14 seasons (8-5-0), Seattle takes on a new opponent as the Rave Green have yet to play Nashville in MLS action. Joining MLS in 2020, Nashville SC is the newest member of the Western Conference, playing in the Eastern Conference in 2020 and 2021, making the playoffs in both seasons, including a third place finish in the Eastern Conference last year.

Following Sunday's matchup, Sounders FC has a week off before traveling to Rio Tinto Stadium for its first road trip of the year to take on Real Salt Lake on Saturday, March 5 (3:00 p.m. PT / FOX 13+, Prime Video, iHeartMedia, El Rey 1360 AM).
