
Sounders FC Forward Will Bruin Undergoes Successful Surgery

SEATTLE, WASH. - Sounders FC today announced that forward Will Bruin has undergone successful surgery. The procedure - a right knee arthroscopy - was performed by Dr. Brian Cole on Tuesday, November 2 in Chicago, Illinois. He begins rehabilitation immediately following the procedure.
Bruin, 32, has three goals and four assists in 24 appearances in 2021, giving him 27 and 15, respectively, since joining Sounders FC prior to the 2017 season (including postseason play). Prior to his time in Seattle, Bruin spent six standout seasons with the Houston Dynamo. He is tied for first among active MLS players with nine postseason goals and 10th with 74 regular-season tallies.
