New York Red Bulls News Release
The New York Red Bulls (13-12-8, 47 points) battled Atlanta United FC (12-9-12, 48 points) to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday night at Red Bull Arena.
New York extended their home unbeaten streak to seven matches for the first time since 2018.
The Red Bulls are 7-1-3 in their last 11 matches and have only conceded four goals, which ranks first in MLS in that timespan.
With the draw tonight, New York sits in seventh place with 47 points in the Eastern Conference, only one point above the playoff line with one match left in the 2021 MLS regular season.
Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded his 13th shutout of the season and his ninth at Red Bull Arena.
Coronel ranks tied for first in MLS with 13 shutouts and is one shy of tying Luis Robles for the most shutouts in a single season in franchise history.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has earned a shutout in two-straight matches, which is tied for his second longest streak of the season.
Since 2010, New York have won 120 matches and have earned 401 points at home, which are both the most in MLS.
New York has only conceded 11 goals at Red Bull Arena this season, which is the third lowest in franchise history.
The Red Bulls are now 6-0-4 against Atlanta United FC in the all-time MLS regular season series, including a 2-0-2 mark at Red Bull Arena.
In five all-time meetings between New York and Atlanta at Red Bull Arena, the Red Bulls have never given up a goal to Atlanta United FC.
New York recorded nine shutouts at Red Bull Arena this year, which is the second most in franchise history.
Midfielder Sean Davis remains the only Red Bulls outfield player to play every minute of every game this season. The last Red Bulls outfield player to play every minute of every game during a season was Tim Ream in 2010.
Forward Patryk Klimala will be suspended for New York's next match after picking up his sixth yellow card of the season.
Following Wednesday's match, New York will travel to Nissan Stadium to face off against Nashville SC on MLS Decision Day, which will take place on Sunday, November 7. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
