NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club has officially clinched a home playoff game for the second consecutive season, after the result of the Atlanta United FC and New York Red Bulls match that was played earlier this evening.ÃÂ
Nashville SC will host Round One of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs at Nissan Stadium after the upcoming international break. The exact date, time and ticketing information will be announced at a later date.
Nashville SC officially clinched a berth in the 2021 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs after its historic 6-3 victory over FC Cincinnati on Oct. 27, combined with the result of Columbus Crew defeating Orlando City SC on Oct. 27.ÃÂ
The Boys in Gold continue to reach historic marks since its inception into Major League Soccer as Nashville become just the fourth team in the expansion era to clinch a spot in the playoffs in back-to-back seasons since joining MLS along with Atlanta United FC, LAFC and Seattle Sounders FC.
Nashville SC has been impeccable in Music City, owning the longest active unbeaten home streak in MLS, going unbeaten in 17 consecutive home matches. This streak dates back to last season with a 3-0 victory in the 2020 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs over Inter Miami CF at Nissan Stadium.
The Boys in Gold will conclude its 2021 MLS regular season at Nissan Stadium this Sunday in a nationally televised contest on ESPN in an Eastern Conference clash against New York Red Bulls. Kickoff for Sunday's Decision Day match is slated for 2:30 p.m. CT.ÃÂ
