Sounders FC Clinches Spot in 2017 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs

SEATTLE, WASH. - Following this afternoon's 4-0 victory over FC Dallas in front of 48,478 at CenturyLink Field, Seattle Sounders FC has secured its ninth-consecutive postseason berth - the longest active streak in Major League Soccer.

Currently sitting tied for second place in the Western Conference with 50 points (13-9-11) and with one match yet to be played in the regular season, the Rave Green can now finish seeded no lower than fourth position, but, depending on next week's Decision Day results around the conference, could finish as high as second.

Single-match ticketing information for any home postseason matches is set to be released once the club's final seeding is known.

To secure the best seats for all potential home playoff matches, fans can purchase a 2018 Season Ticket Membership by emailing Sales@SoundersFC.com or by calling 877-MLS-GOAL. If purchased prior to the final regular season match, new members for next season receive access to the 2017 postseason as a member benefit. Current members have already been notified and had the opportunity to reserve their seat location for playoff matches.

Looking ahead to Decision Day, the Rave Green have one home game remaining in the regular season as they host the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, October 22, in a 1:00 p.m. PT kickoff on the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field (JOEtv, Univision-Seattle, 107.7 The End, El Rey 1360 AM).
