
Sound Tigers Team up with Martial Arts Connecticut

BRIDGEPORT, Conn (Aug. 3, 2011) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced they are teaming up with Martial Arts Connecticut in support of self-defense and empowerment programs for women and girls.
Martial Arts Connecticut will be holding a free self-defense seminar on Sunday, August 21 from 2-4 p.m. at The SportsCenter of Connecticut in Shelton. All participants in the two-hour self-defense program will receive a free ticket to the Sound Tigers regular season home opener on Saturday, Oct. 8. The Sound Tigers full 2011-12 regular season schedule will be released by the American Hockey League within the next two weeks.
