
Rampage Sign Joe Devin to AHL Contract

SAN ANTONIO (August 3, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward Joe Devin to an AHL contract.
Devin, 23, joins the Rampage from Cornell University (ECAC) where he spent the past four seasons playing in 116 games for the Big Red, totaling 37 goals and 27 assists. Last season he served as team captain and posted a team-best 17 goals and added 10 assists.
The 6-foot-1, 206-pound native of Scituate, Mass., appeared in 47 regular season games during the 2006-07 season with the Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL) collecting eight goals and 15 assists. He helped the Clippers win the Coastal Conference and the 2007 Chevrolet Cup with one goal and two assists in 22 playoff games.
