
Sound Tigers Name Matt Broyles Equipment Manager

Bridgeport, CT (September 11, 2009) -- The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders, have announced the appointment of Matt Broyles as the team's new equipment manager.
Broyles comes to Bridgeport after spending the last three years in the Calgary Flames organization working for the team's AHL affiliates in Omaha, NE and Quad Cities. Broyles served as the Assistant Equipment Manager for the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights during the 2006-07 season. When the team relocated to Quad Cities in 2007, he became the Head Equipment Manager.
"Matt brings great experience in managing an AHL equipment room," Sound Tigers President Howard Saffan said. "We look forward to a great season with Matt on board."
