Sotillo Returns to Lugnuts, Hernandez Placed on DL

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, Lansing Lugnuts catcher Javier Hernandez has been placed on the 7-day Disabled List and catcher Andres Sotillo has been reinstated from the 7-day Disabled List.

Sotillo played three games earlier this season for the Lugnuts, collecting two hits in 12 at-bats and stealing a base after joining the team from Extended Spring Training on April 12th. He had been on the Disabled List since April 21st.

The official Lugnuts roster is attached, with the maximum 25 active players and eight players on the Disabled List.

The Lugnuts enter Thursday's night's 7:05 p.m. Labatt Thirsty Thursday against the Dayton Dragons with a 26-13 record, best in the Midwest League, and riding an eight-game winning streak. This is the fourth game of the Nuts' seven-game homestand.
