Somerset Patriots News Release
Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball have announced new logos for the 2003 season.
The logos are designed to be youth logos for the team, now in its six year of existence. They are the first logos to be added since the team began play in the Atlantic League in 1998.
The new logos join the primary logo, the secondary logo, and the Patriots word mark as the way the Patriots will be visually represented at the ballpark and throughout the community.
"We felt it was time to introduce a new look for the team and create a fun logo for younger fans to complement our existing ones," said Patrick McVerry, General Manager of the Somerset Patriots.
The logos will appear on special merchandise including hats, t-shirts, and novelty items at the Headquarters Gift Shop, located at the ballpark.
The Somerset Patriots 2003 Season presented by Ford will return home on Friday, May 16th for a weekend series with the Long Island Ducks. Friday, May 16th includes entertainment from Myron Noodleman presented by Miller Lite. Great seats are still available by calling (908) 252-0700, by stopping by the Patriots Ticket Office located at the ballpark, or on-line at www.somersetpatriots.com.
