The Beloit Snappers took game three of this four game series with South Bend 10-1 tonight. Beloit won the first game of a doubleheader yesterday 3-2 before South Bend took the night cap 6-5. Beloit scored in bunches tonight, scoring four runs in the third and five runs in the fourth. South Bend did manage to score a run in the second inning to lead 1-0 before the Snappers offense exploded. The Snappers added their tenth run in the eighth. Starter Jay Rainville went seven innings, allowing one run and striking out five and walking won for his third win of the season. David Winfree was 2 for 4 with 4 RBI's. Tarrence Patterson was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers will play South Bend on Sunday at 2:00 in Beloit. Cedar Rapids and Beloit start a four game series Monday through Thursday at Pohlman Field.
