Smokies Add Henderson To Roster

Sevierville, Tennessee -- The Tennessee Smokies Professional Baseball Club, the Class AA Southern League Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, have added RHP Jim Henderson to the active roster.
The 23-year-old is a native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is in his sixth season of professional baseball. The Chicago Cubs acquired Henderson in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 draft in December 2006. He was originally drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 26th round of the 2003 draft. Henderson has spent all of the 2008 season on the Smokies disabled list.
