Smith Back To T-Town

(Toledo, OH) The Toledo Storm announced today that forward Scooter Smith has been returned to the Storm by the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League. In separate moves, the Storm released forward Matt Puntureri (PAHN-ter-ay) and signed forward Randy Harris.

Scooter Smith appeared in two games with Lowell since being loaned to the Lock Monsters on March 10th. Smith did not collect a point. With Toledo this season, Scooter has collected 54 points (21g, 33a) in 50 games. Randy Harris just finished his college career with Niagara University. This season proved to be his most productive, as he scored 14 goals while adding 22 assists. A native of Grand Island, New York, Randy missed the previous three seasons healing from surgery to eliminate developed respiratory problems. Harris appeared in 127 college games scoring 36 goals and adding 46 assists. Puntureri appeared in six Storm games and collected two assists.
