WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers announce today that the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have returned forward Kurtis McLean to the Nailers on loan. He will be in uniform tonight along with recently returned Arpad Mihaly against the Trenton Titans.

McLean, 25, began the season with the Nailers recording 46 points (25+21) and a plus-19 rating in 3 games, ranking second overall in the league in points before being recalled to Wilkes-Barre on January 11th. He still sits tied for fourth in rookie goals scored, and sixteenth overall in rookie points.

The 5'11" 175 pound native of Kirkland Lake, Ontario appeared in 27 games with the Penguins, recording 12 points (3+9) and a plus-5 rating. McLean was signed by the Penguins as a free agent on September 29th, after playing four years at Norwich University (NCAA Div. III).

The Nailers face the Titans tonight on the road before returning home to play Dayton on Saturday at 7:30 and Johnstown Sunday at 5:05.
