Skyhawks Top Go-Go in Sunday Clash

College Park, Ga. - The College Park Skyhawks (3-1) defeated the Capital City Go-Go (3-2), 110-104, on Sunday afternoon in College Park as the teams split the two-game series. Chris Silva finished with game-highs in points (27) and rebounds (13). The 6'8 forward owns averages of 22.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.0 blocks in four games this season.

The Skyhawks took control in the early going behind Silva's nine rebounds in the first quarter - which set a new career-high for rebounds in any quarter for Silva. Brandon Randolph pitched in 11 points off the bench to lead all scorers at the break, and the Skyhawks held a 56-51 advantage.

In the second half, Silva poured in 17 points, and was complemented by 16 from Keaton Wallace and 11 from Seth Lundy. Wallace finished the game with 25 points while Lundy finished with 19. The Skyhawks converted 15 of their 17 attempts from the free throw line in the second half.

The Skyhawks never trailed, leading by as many 16 points (37-21) with 10:44 left in the second quarter.

The Go-Go were led by 24 points from Jules Bernard with additional scoring from Hamidou Diallo (18), Ryan Rollins (12), Devon Dotson and John Butler, Jr. (10 apiece).

The Skyhawks will hit the road for a two-game set with the Delaware Blue Coats, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. ET. The second game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. ET.
