Sugar Land Space Cowboys News Release

The third time is usually a charm, but not on Wednesday night, as the Skeeters lost a wild one to the Bridgeport Bluefish 13-12. The Bluefish lead 4-0, after a four run fourth, but Sugar Land scored six runs over the next three innings highlighted by a Steve Moss two-run homer and lead 6-4. The Skeeters gave it all back though, when the Bluefish had a five run fifth and lead 9-6.

In the top of the seventh Sugar Land would score a half a dozen runs, leading the way was Josh Pressley who hit a two-run homer and the Skeeters regained the lead at 12-9. Bridgeport wasn't done though, scoring one in the seventh and then received a three-run homer from James Simmons and lead 13-12, which would be the final.
